Today is “Good Friday” and we have the benefit of looking back on over 2000 years of history. But, what about those that walked with Jesus in the New Testament. Could that Friday have been called “good”? Their friend, companion, their teacher and mentor, the One they had placed all their hopes, was arrested, beaten, then crucified and place in a borrowed tomb.  But these had spent time with Jesus and no doubt were forever influenced by Him and changed for eternity. How will they respond? Can they go on? They followed the Messiah in life, will their love cease? It was Love that held Jesus on the cross! It was the love of people for God that caused them to respond in various ways. It was the Love of God that raised Jesus to Life and it is the Love of God that reaches out to us all. Because LOVE WINS! And this Changes Everything! It is Friday but; Sunday is coming!
