How can we grow in wisdom as we look closely at their example?  Join us as we take a fresh look at this traditional story, of the Christmas season

The Measure of a Leader

There is a lot of talk in our world about leadership. As a fully committed follower of Jesus we are also called to summit to authority. For some this seems to be a paradox. Biblical leadership comes out of submission to God’s authority! For some it seems that leading requires perfection. Therefore, by looking at our own shortcomings; the Godly, biblical leadership, in submission to authority to which the Lord has called us is a mute point. In our new series “The measure of a Leader- Flawed people that God used” we will look at the book of Judges and discover that God uses flawed people. We will also see how God calls his people to a place of leading; to lead our families in the things of God, to lead a community back to biblical principles; to lead a nation back to Christ; to lead a world into the peace that the Father alone can give!

Jesus declared blessing upon those that followed him, his disciples, those that heard, understood and obeyed his word. What does it take to truly see, to perceive what God is doing in our lives and desires yet to do. Once we allow Jesus to have rule in our lives; should we see differently? Are we willing to develop “Eyes to See” all that the Lord has in store for us?  We will look at such questions and more in “Eyes to See” this Sunday at 11 am

This forth of July weekend America will celebrate our Independence., our freedom from an oppressive ruler. In declaring our freedom our founding fathers set to establish a new rule for us to live by. Today we will look at the Preamble of that rule the Constitution, and see how it aligns with the Kingdom of God. It begins with the words “We the People” we must first secure our “Identity” once we know who we are; we understand we have a “Purpose” and ultimately a “Plan” to achieve that purpose.
